Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Hoe Farm House, Rectory Road, Aldham, Essex during groundworks for the construction of a new garage and store. Despite being located close to a listed building, the only feature uncovered was a field boundary ditch backfilled in the 20th century.
