Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Lotus Way and Tamarisk Way, Jaywick, Essex during the removal of part of the historic sea wall prior to the construction of ten new dwellings and the installation of an electricity substation. The removal of the sea wall yielded no evidence with which to date the feature, and nor did its removal expose any other features.
