Summary. A programme of historic building recording was carried out by the Colchester Archaeological Trust on a timber-framed building known as the Mission Hall at Bannister Green, Felsted, Essex. Cartographic evidence proves that the building was not erected in its current location until the 1950s, but there remains the possibility that it was originally a First World War hut used for accommodating soldiers.
