Summary. An archaeological watching brief was carried out at 17 Elianore Road, Colchester in advance of the construction of an extension to the rear of the property. Despite being located in an area of known Roman cemeteries and close to the pre-Roman settlement at Sheepen (Scheduled Monument 1002173), no significant archaeological horizons were identified.
