Summary. An archaeological watching brief was undertaken during the replacement of a fence around the tennis courts at St Helena School, Sheepen Road, Colchester, Essex. The postholes for the fence were dug under observation. No archaeological features were encountered. One piece of unstratified possible kiln/oven material was recovered.
