Summary. 'Archaeological assessment was carried out in advance of the proposed residential development at Gosbecks Farm (on the south-western outskirts of modern Colchester) by Colchester Archaeological Trust Field Projects. This consisted of archive research, fieldwalking survey, sample trenching, and geophysical and metal-detector surveys.'
