Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at 7 Church Street, Tollesbury, Essex during groundworks for the construction of a swimming pool. Located in the garden of the 17th-century grade II listed timber-framed cottage, groundworks revealed four rubbish pits producing 19th-20th century material.
