Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Mantells Farmhouse, Foxes Lane, Eight Ash Green during excavations for a rear single-storey extension. Mantells Farmstead is a Grade II listed building and dates to the 17th century. The only features uncovered were a soakaway and land drain.
