Summary. Archaeological monitoring took place at St Mary’s Upper School, 91 Lexden Road, Colchester, Essex during groundworks for three storage buildings and associated drainage. Despite being in an area with high archaeological potential, no archaeological remains were encountered as most of the groundworks took place within modern layers.
