Summary. An archaeological evaluation (one L-shaped trench) was carried out on land adjacent to Tall Trees, Clacton Road, Frating Hill, Frating in advance of the construction of a new house and garage. Despite being located in an area of extensive cropmarks, there were no archaeological remains.
