Summary. Archaeological monitoring took place at Salmons Farm, Salmons Lane, Coggeshall, Essex during groundworks for the construction of a side extension and rear conservatory. Salmons Farm is at least 200 years old, may be medieval in origin, and there is also evidence for historic field boundaries on the development site. However, no archaeological remains was uncovered during monitoring.
