Summary. An archaeological evaluation (three trenches) was carried out on land to the rear of Langham Cottage, 9 High Street, Langham, Essex, in advance of the construction of four new dwellings. The development site is located in the village of Langham within an archaeologically-rich landscape of cropmarks. No evidence of any archaeological activity was identified on site.
