Summary. Archaeological monitoring was carried out on the barns at Beaumont Hall, Thorpe le Soken ahead of their conversion to six new dwellings. The village of Beaumont cum Moze appears in 13th-century records, and the barns at Beaumont Hall are Grade II listed with 17th-century origins. Evidence of prehistoric and Roman features have been found nearby to the site as well. Four features were recorded during monitoring, two of them modern and likely related to changing land use at the development site over the years.
