Summary. An archaeological excavation was carried out at St Mary's Grange, Easthorpe Road, Copford, Essex in advance of the construction of a new swimming pool. Despite being located within the grounds of St Mary's Grange, a Grade II* listed early 15th-century timber-framed house, there were no archaeological remains within the footprint of the swimming pool.
