Summary.
An archaeological evaluation (one trial-trench) was carried out at International House, Moss Road, Stanway, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a residential development of ten units with an associated amenity area, services and parking. The site lies next to Gryme's Dyke, one of a series of earthworks which define the Late Iron Age oppidum of Camulodunum. Despite being located in an archaeologically-sensitive area, only a modern concrete footing was uncovered.
