Summary. An archaeological evaluation (three trial-trenches) was carried out on land adjacent to St Anns, Southminster Road, Asheldham, Southminster, Essex, in advance of the construction of two chalet-style bungalows. Despite being located in an archaeologically-sensitive area, the only feature recorded was a modern foundation trench.
