Summary. Archaeological monitoirng was carried out at 52 Oaklands Avenue, Colchester, Essex during groundworks for new entrance porch, car port and garage/workshop extension. The site is located near to a Late Iron Age dyke. Despite being located in an archaeologically-sensitive area, no significant remains were encountered.
