Summary. An archaeological evaluation (six trial-trenches) was carried out at 28-32 Mulberry Green, Harlow, Essex in advance of the construction of ten detached dwellings. The development site is located in Mulberry Green, an area of medieval and post-medieval settlement. Evaluation revealed a modern ditch, a possible post-Roman ditch, a Bronze Age / Early Iron Age gully, a possible Roman pit, an undatable pit and two undatable postholes.
