Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at Mill House, Mill Road, Fordham, Essex during the construction a two-storey side extension and demolition of existing garden room. A wall foundation and remnants of a possible brick floor or interior wall, the remains of the late 18th-century corn mill which formerly stood on this site, were uncovered.
