Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording were carried out at 106 Maldon Road, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of a part single-storey and part two-storey extension. The development site is located near to the areas of several Roman cemeteries, as well as to the locations of scattered Neolithic, Bronze Age, Iron Age and Roman features and finds. No significant archaeological features were uncovered on this site.
