Summary. Archaeological monitoring and recording was carried out at 10 Ashley Gardens in advance of the construction of side and rear extensions. The development site is located within the Late Iron Age oppidum of Camulodunum, to the west of the Roman walled town and within an area of Roman cemeteries termed ‘the western cemetery’ or the ‘Lexden cemetery’. No significant archaeological features were recorded.
