Summary.
Archaeological monitoring and recording were carried out at 26 Beaver Close, Colchester, Essex during the conversion and extension of a garage into a kitchen and utility room. The site lies within
the Late Iron Age oppidum of Camulodunum, which was defined by a system of defensive dykes. The Triple Dyke extends roughly north-south through the back half of the site. Despite being located close to the Triple Dyke, no significant archaeological remains were exposed on the site.
