Summary. An archaeological evaluation by trial-trenching was carried out at 75 Mill Road, Stock, Essex in advance of the construction of two new dwellings. Pottery manufacture was an important industry in Stock from the 16th to the 19th centuries. However, no significant archaeological horizons were identified.
