Summary. An archaeological watching brief was carried out at 98 Oaklands Avenue, Colchester, Essex in advance of the construction of an extension to the rear of the property. Despite being located adjacent to Grymes Dyke Middle (Scheduled Monument 1019960), no features or finds of archaeological significance were identified.
