Summary. A programme of building recording was carried out on two timber-framed threshing barns at Shalford Hall Farm, The Street, Shalford, Essex, in February 2015. The barns are believed to date to the 18th century and cartographic evidence suggests they replaced earlier farm structures at this historic farm complex that has its origins in the pre-Conquest period.
