Summary. The site is within the Late Iron Age and early Roman 'Lexden Cemetery'. An archaeological strip, map and recording project prior to redevelopment on the site revealed a probable post-medieval boundary ditch and six post-medieval/modern pits, but no Roman burials or other features.
