Summary. Significant archaeological horizons, probably all Roman in date, were observed at 29.60m above Ordnance Datum slightly north of centre of the premises. This level coincides with 1.00m below the top of the existing floor slab. The bottom of the archaeological horizon is marked by natural sand at 28.60m AOD.
